WSCGA was founded in 1949 to promote and serve the best interests of women's golf in South Carolina.

WSCGA hosts tournaments for all skill levels throughout South Carolina.  In conjunction with the CGA, it provides free seminars for members that cover Rules of Golf, Pace of Play and Etiquette, and rates South Carolina golf courses for women players and provides handicap services to members.
